Cutting and rough grinding of hard materials: Frequently used for rapid cutting and chamfering of ceramic tiles, glass, marble, and granite, as well as for grinding cemented carbide (hard metal) tools.

Thin-walled materials: Ideally suited for rapid edge grinding of glass or ceramic products.

Floor patching/repair: Occasionally used in concrete floor processing to quickly level localized high spots. However, it is not suitable for large-area dry grinding, as the dust will rapidly clog its single layer of diamond abrasive.
